Wash the copper in warm water with a splash of gentle dish soap.
*Because each piece is individually handmade, there may be slight variations.
The tin lining prevents foods from reacting with copper, but can be scratched and discolored. Avoid acidic foods and using metal utensils to keep the tin in good condition.

Copper will never rust. It can form a green film on the surface over time. This will not flake the way rust does. Some people prefer the look of oxidized copper. The Statue of Liberty is made of copper. It has turned green over time due to the copper's oxidation.
You can find many different copper polishers in your local market. Use a soft cloth to rub the paste on the surface of the copper. Buff the copper item until it shines. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly. It is again brand new after many years.
